Jason pushed for Cotton to return to normalcy was the right choice for them. They met when both were at rock bottom, albeit in different way. Beyond the age gap and the potential danger. The story picked up almost immediately after… I forgot which book… Now we see, Jason, the colonel friend of Burton being treated at the flophouse after the escapade.
Not sure why… Even though the synopsis was clear about the what’s going be covered and the shared universe with Fish series as well as Racing for the Sun. This is a correct assessment of this book. I had a glance at a comment saying that this is an Orange level angst. I receive ARC of this book for honest review.
