Summer Week Twelve, is called 'Prepare to Shrink to the Size of an Ant'- Doesn't this sound interesting? Some of your tasks involve a very familiar bear who loves Marmalade sandwiches. I am excited to send 'Please Look After This Bear' plans for this week, because as most of you know, bears are my favourite animal. Summer Week Nine is all about Poetry and includes some funny poems and nonsense poems to keep you entertained.
Summer Week Eight should be fun, because the focus is the author Oliver Jeffers, who has written some excellent stories, including 'Stuck.' 3. New Half Termġ.Summer Week Seven 'Be Brave.Be Strong', includes some lovely animal stories to make you think and some interesting activities about them. Our class has produced great work before when exploring different animals and stories about them. Summer Week Five and Six focus upon the topic of Birds. Our class will really enjoy the theme for Summer Week Four, which focuses upon the 'Horrid Henry' stories by Francesca Simon. The interesting non -fiction links are all about Recipes. Class 2V are familiar with the author Julia Donaldson and her stories, which are the focus for Summer Week One.Ģ.The children loved Roald Dahl Day back in the Autumn and really enjoyed the Roald Dahl stories we have shared in class. These are the focus of Summer Week Two.ģ.Summer Week Three moves away from thinking about stories(fiction.) Instead, the class will be focusing upon information texts. Every link to a story you need, along with the ideas for each activity. Super daily plans for an easy to understand and fun English lesson.
